With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji and Sant Baba Dlawar Singh ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh ji, under the valuable guidance of respected Vice Chancellor of SBBSU Prof.(Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, and the support of Prof.(Dr.) Aneet Kumar (Register, SBBSU) Dr. Vijay Dhir (Dean Academic, SBBSU). The University Institute of Education and University Institute of Humanities organised an interclasses quiz competition on the theme "Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative in Defence Production" on 14-08-2024. The participants were divided into two groups, team A and B. The quiz was divided into three rounds. At the end B team won the competition by scoring 75 marks. The quiz was ended with the national anthem. NCC unit of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University celebrated Independence Day on 15-08-2024. On this occasion, Dr. Harpreet Singh, (CTO) gave a motivational speech about the history of the country's independence. He created a serious dialogue about the ideological background of the various movements that took place for the country's independence. Paying homage to the heroes who died for the country's independence, he said that we can make our society and country happy only by following the ideology and thinking of the martyrs. This will be the true tribute to those martyrs. They are true heroes. Along with this, they talked about rooting out social and cultural slavery. On this occasion, the cadets of the unit hoisted the national tricolor flag and chanted the national anthem in salute. After this, the cadets of the unit planted various plants in the university campus and reiterated their commitment to maintain them. These plants will be beneficial in maintaining the greenness of the campus, nature and life. On this occasion, Dr. Surinder Kumar, Dr. KPS Mahi and Dr. Surinder Kaur Mahi were also present.
